Babylon Essay Example For Students

Babylon Essay BABYLON THE GREAT IS FALLENIn Revelation parts 17 and 18 we read about the incredible prostitute named Babylonwho sits on numerous waters and is the mother all things considered. The symbolism where theapostle John uses to portray Babylon has noteworthy significance, in particularfor the congregation as she moves toward the finish of the age. It is of fundamental importanceto comprehend who this Babylon is and how she influences the life of each devotee. All through the ages there have been numerous endeavors to recognize Babylon. Mosthave concurred that she is the Roman Catholic Church (specifically the Vatican),even to the point of recognizing the Pope as the counter Christ himself. Others havesuggested that Babylon is definitely not a strict structure yet almost certain political, pointing to the EEC (the regular European market), or to the United States (inparticular New York with Wall Street). Further more, others have gone similarly as tosuggest that Babylon is topographical, highlighting current Iraq from where thatformer incredible civilisation began, and recommending that one day that civilisationwill rise again to turn into a cutting edge superpower. While the facts confirm that one may discover levels of Babylon in every one of these things, however, none of these things in themselves can completely make up Babylon. In other words,Babylon may, and exists in these things, yet nobody can highlight any one ofthese things and state, This is Babylon. Actually, all these (ie. theEuropean Union, United States with its large business, the Vatican, and otherpolitical and strict foundations) are comprised of individuals, and it is IN THEHEARTS of individuals you will discover Babylon. These substances have been permitted by Godto obviously give us Babylon and point to something of the idea of fallen man. The heart is beguiling over all things, And frantically underhanded; Who canknow it? (Jer 17:9). The causes of Babylon, most definitely, dates directly back to thegarden of Eden when Adam and Eve were given a decision with respect to whether they wouldfollow the Lord through an existence of submission and confidence, or attempt to become as Godthrough their own endeavoring. From the earliest starting point, Gods goal was that manwould show the picture of God and develop into full development through obedienceto the desire of the Lord. As we probably am aware, Adam and Eve decided to ignore and eat fromthe tree of information on great and wickedness. From that time on, man has an inherentnature which endeavors to achieve the picture of God in his own quality. The alleged non-strict utilize characteristic solidarity to become divine forces of this world. They manufacture lives for themselves without the truth of the Creator. In their owndelusions they accept that they themselves are makers. They are in control oftheir own predeterminations. They set up good and moral norms of life which cannotbe damaged due to individual rights, while simultaneously upholding thoserights on the more extensive network and demanding that everybody submit to thosestandards. They even venture to such an extreme as to volunteer to decidewhen to give life, yet when and how to take it too. THEY HAVE BECOMEGODS WHILE AT THE SAME TIME COMPLETELY DISREGARDING THE ONEAND ONLY TRUE GOD!Likewise, numerous strict/otherworldly ones consolidate profound laws to common onesbut with one distinction they become divine beings of this world, yet additionally thenext. They really de-seat God by living freely of the one trueCreator. Their choices of what is good and bad is regularly founded on whatbenefits them and not on the absolutes of God. On a superficial level there is anappearance of devotion, yet underneath frequently lies the shrouded adversary of prideexpressing itself through keeps an eye on unsanctified insight and feelings. This is theBabylon nature in man. The First Chapter of codes EssayThe city God planned was to be a profound one in the hearts of men, with menthemselves being the structure materials with which God manufactures. Coming to Him regarding a living stone, dismissed in reality by men, yet picked byGod and valuable, you additionally, as living stones, are being developed a spiritualhouse, a blessed brotherhood, to present profound penances adequate to Godthrough Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 2:4-5)There are immense contrasts between the city of God (the New Jerusalem) and thecity Nimrod based on the fields of Shinar. Right off the bat we note that the New Jerusalemis worked by God Himself, and in spite of the fact that it is consistent with state that this city (being assembled inthe hearts of men) will be one that celebrates its Builder and Maker, the thought process forGod to manufacture this city has consistently been one of adoration. In other words, Gods intentionin building the New Jerusalem is to support the individuals who will be a piece of theNew Jerusalem. What can man provide for God that God doesnt as of now have? Canman give Him love? God IS love (see 1 John 4:8). Will man give him a body o fflesh in which to communicate? The Lord Jesus Christ despite everything has an assemblage of flesh(see Luke 24:39). Is God needing friendship or love? He has aninnumerable number of heavenly attendants revering, venerating, and obeying Him constant. No! Divine beings expectation has ALWAYS been one of GIVING! He is the incredible shepherd(see song 23:1) and He gives His life for His sheep (see John 10:11). Nimrod, then again, is known as a compelling tracker. He was a forceful tracker before the LORD; subsequently it is stated, Like Nimrodthe relentless tracker before the LORD. What's more, the start of his realm wasBabel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the place that is known for Shinar. (Beginning 10:9-10)As contradicted to our Shepherd Lord, a tracker is one who will murder so as to gratifyhimself. With the end goal of arrangement, conservation, or joy, a tracker will nothesitate to take life. The Shepherd won't just accommodate His sheep, He will alsogive His own life for the wellbeing of they, in any event, leaving the ninety-nine to pursue the one(see Matthew 18:11-12). Nimrods name implies insubordination or radical, which demonstrates the character of thismighty tracker. We find in Scripture, For defiance is as the wrongdoing ofwitchcraft..(1 Sam 15:23). It isn't unexpected to discover black magic being a mainingredient in the structure of Babylon. Black magic is the utilization of feelings ratherthan the Holy Spirit to control, con trol, or modify ones conduct or choices. Since it is something contrary to Gods love which permits opportunity of decision, it powers aperson(s) to carry on a specific way, for the most part through passionate extortion. Extremeforms of black magic utilized by the mysterious include dark enchantment. In any case, unobtrusive formsof control can not exclusively be found in the individual existences of numerous adherents, butalso in the regular running of a considerable lot of Gods houses of worship. Married couples havefound that specific feelings will bring about getting an ideal reaction fromtheir mate. In like manner, church pioneers have discovered that specific words said in aparticular way, or possibly a tear at the perfect time, or even a certain physicalgesture, can move the assembly towards the objective of that administration. THISIS WITCHCRAFT! This removes a people capacity to settle on a free decision to obeyby FORCING their feelings to make a great reaction towards the onedisplaying these feelings. THIS RUNS CO NTRARY TO GODS LAW OFLOVE!.Love told isn't love in any way.

In the United States, a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is just a propelled practice enrolled nurture (APRN) who has gained graduate-level instruction and board accreditation in sedation and they are the most established medical attendant claim to fame bunch in the U. S. Nonetheless, their activity isn’t that basic. Sedation depicts medications and gases that help to square sensation, and they keep patients oblivious while in medical procedure. The fundamental objective of the CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist), which is critical, is to have the patient wakeful liberated from torment. CRNAs, or Nurse Anesthetists, are liable for overseeing, managing, and checking sedation related consideration for those patients experiencing surgeries. ‘I shall obey, my lord’ Essay

‘Where be his quiddities now, his characteristics, his cases, his residencies, and his stunts? †¦ Is this the fine of his fines and the recuperation of his recuperations, to have his fine plate brimming with fine soil? Will his vouchers vouch him nothing else of his buys, and twofold ones as well, than the length and broadness a couple of agreements? The very con-veyances of his properties hardly lie in this case, and should th’inheritor himself have no more, ha? ‘ (Act:V Scene:i Lines:97-98,103-110) This specific scene would have incites wild discussion among the Elizabethan crowd since it tested the major parts of Christianity. Hamlet asserts that regardless of how meticulous and kind an individual you are during your time on earth God can not shield you from all the abhorrence on the planet. Hamlet may have been composed by Shakespeare as a questionable this is likely impossible as in the period he lived in he would have been seriously rebuffed by the administration if his play had been regarded to be an assault upon the religion of the day. As far as causing the play to appear to be spoiled and sloppy, toxic substance and ailment assumed a significant job in the play. Old Hamlet’s reason for death obviously, was poison that was immersed his ear by his sibling. ‘Thus was I, resting, by a brother’s hand of life, of crown, of sovereign without a moment's delay dispatch’d, Cut off even in the blooms of my sin,’ (Act:I Scene: v Line:74-76) Claudius had figured out how to dispose of apportion of his issues yet such conduct would have been viewed as godless by an Elizabethan crowd for a man to slaughter his sibling and desire his sister-in-law. The strict convictions of the crowd would have made them loathe the character of Claudius and think of him as a malicious lowlife. To an Elizabethan crowd ladies would have been viewed as the incident of all the male characters, which caused numerous contentions inside the play. In the event that Claudius had not pined for Gertrude there would have been one less purpose behind old Hamlet to pass on. Ophelia was Hamlet’s love yet couldn't remain devoted to it however rather decided to satisfy her obligations to her dad. She confessed to every one of her insider facts with respect to Hamlet to her dad. To an Elizabethan crowd doubtlessly Polonius has Ophelia under his influence ‘I would not, in plain terms, from this time forward Have you so criticize any second relaxation As to give words or talk with the Lord Hamlet. Look to’t, I charge you. Come your ways. ‘ He orders and she complies. ‘I will comply, my lord’ (Act:I Scene: iv Lines: 132-136) He orders all her Hamlet a ways off and Ophelia attempting to be the acceptable Elizabethan little girl does as he orders. Yet, in doing so she looses Hamlet’s trust and his affection for her. This outcomes in an adoration abhor relationship which drives Ophelia to end it all and her sibling being confronted with some awful conditions which prompts him executing Hamlet. Close by Hamlet’s unconventional relationship with Ophelia, it is likewise contended by a cutting edge crowd that Hamlet may have had an Oedipus complex. Oedipus was a man in antiquated folklore who was reviled to execute his dad and wed his mom. Shakespeare realized that a large portion of the individuals of the time would have thought about the story thus added an additional wind to his play. The story he told was a natural one at that point. All Shakespeare had done was adjust a good old people story and re-built it to take care of a typical enthusiasm among his Elizabethan crowd. A cutting edge crowd would have a totally unique reaction to the have having been an influence of an advanced crowd it was a general inclination among the crowd that numerous lives, including Hamlet’s own could have been spared on the off chance that he had recently murdered his uncle before. A cutting edge crowd has been solidified by an absence of religion and consistent introduction to scenes of death. A cutting edge crowd has progressively logical and verifiable information about their environmental factors. Perceiving how when a cutting edge individual needs an inquiry addressed he/she searches for an explanation or more profound comprehension to determine the issue rather than religion subsequently religion isn't generally drilled as much in current society. Hamlet’s reluctance to execute his uncle would not have been met with compassion by a cutting edge crowd. To a cutting edge crowd Claudius is viewed as a lowlife and it truly isn't of any worry how a scoundrel kicked the bucket. An advanced crowd would accept that Hamlet ought to have made the best of his opportunity to murder Claudius. An advanced crowd would think less about Hamlet’s thinking for not murdering Claudius since it had a lot to do with Claudius’s after life as a cutting edge crowd has little confidence in that we would think that its difficult to comprehend the deferral Claudius’s demise. ‘A reprobate slaughters my dad, and for that I, his sole child, do this equivalent reprobate send To paradise. Why, this is recruit and compensation, not retribution. ‘ (Act:III Scene: iii Lines: 76-79) An advanced crowd would prefer to have Hamlet kill Claudius rapidly and not harp on the issue for a considerable length of time, it is good for Claudius to bite the dust in light of the fact that the crowd realizes it is a simply demonstration of retribution and the main route for old Hamlet to go to paradise. So when a cutting edge crowd takes a gander at Hamlet they see the negative impacts of his faltering. The political topics high-lit in the play would not have a downbeat sway on a cutting edge crowd since we live a majority rule society with lawfulness arranged by conciliatory governments and there is vote based control in transit of life and how individuals lead them s mythical people. The misuse and enduring of ladies in the play is one of only a handful hardly any things that would upset a cutting edge crowd. The way that ladies are treated as property raises worry about the evil treatment of ladies at the time Hamlet was composed. Ophelia is smothered by her dad and sibling and Gertrude is stuck between supporting her child or spouse. A cutting edge crowd to Hamlet will have little thought of the debate that seethed in the Elizabethan time frame, this is predominantly because of the absence of strict energy among present day society despite the fact that it is very fascinating to perceive how significant a duty religion had in the play, anyway to the Elizabethan crowd the play would have taken on an alternate and more profound importance as the rehashed strict references would have struck a profound harmony in the crowd of the day. Thusly it is detectable that an Elizabethan crowd would have a totally extraordinary reaction to Hamlet than that of a cutting edge crowd for the above reasons.

Gender Identity An Unfamiliar And Confusing Concept

Gender identity is an unfamiliar and confusing concept to many people. Until recently, Americans have been taught and conditioned to believe that one’s anatomy and genetics are what determines one’s gender. Acting or dressing like the other gender was considered disgusting and taboo, and people who claimed to be transgender were thought of as severely mentally ill. Some would even confuse gender identity with sexual orientation; like believing that all transgender people are gay. However, now that the LGBT community is gaining more popularity and momentum than ever before, these individuals are slowly but surely becoming more understood and treated equally, as the idea of gender identity uncertainty and exploration is becoming more widely accepted. Americans are finally opening their eyes and ears so to be educated about these misunderstood and mistreated people. Has this been effective? Before that question can be answered, one must understand the terminology behind th e discussion. To begin, one must understand gender identity. It’s the gender one feels himself to be, and thus, the one he identifies as. According to Barbara A. Kerr and Karen D. Multon’s article, â€Å"The Development of Gender Identity, Gender Roles, and Gender Relations in Gifted Students† for the Journal of Counseling Development, one discovers his own gender identity by determining where he believes himself to be on a spectrum of maleness and femaleness, regardless of biological sex—meaning that he couldShow MoreRelatedGender Identity : Gender And Masculinity Essay1509 Words   |  7 PagesGender plays an enormous role in every society around the world. He showed me a lot of things and he makes sure that I’m always aware and updated in the latest happenings. And you know what’s even better? He is always there when I need him. He doesn’t ask for so much attention and being with him gives me comfort and warmth. But, little did I know, that this best friend would soon betray me and cause me suffering. If before he was a good influence, now, he was a distraction, and I seemed to be so drawn into his world, that I even ignored things that are really essential. I’ve realized that this friendship of ours was not healthy. Even my mother told me that spending time with him is bad, especially now that I’m more drawn into him. So I’ve made up my mind. I won’t be spending most of my time with him; I’ll try to lessen the time that we’re together. I’ve learned to prioritize what is really important. No more late nights and snack times with him. I’ll just bond with my family more; nothing would break us apart; not you, my ex-best friend, the television.

How to Write a Limerick

How to Write a Limerick You might need to write a limerick for an assignment, or you may want to learn the art just for fun or to impress a friend. Limericks are fun  -   they usually have a bit of a twist and a perhaps a silly element. And best of all, they can be a great way to express how clever and creative you can be! The Elements of a Limerick A limerick contains five lines. In this mini-poem, the first, second, and fifth lines rhyme, and the third and fourth lines rhyme. Here is an example: There once was a student named Dwight,Who slept only three hours a night. He dozed in the classroomAnd snoozed in the bathroom,So Dwight’s college options are slight. There is also a certain rhythm to a limerick that makes it unique. The meter, or the number of beats (stressed syllables) per lines, is 3,3,2,2,3. For example, in the second line, the three stressed points are slept, three, and night. The syllabification is (usually) 8,8,5,5,8, but there is some variation in this. In the limerick above, there are actually 6 syllables in the third and fourth lines. How to Write Your Own Limerick To write your own limerick, begin with a person and/or a place. Make sure that one or both of them are easy to rhyme. For your first try, start with â€Å"there once was† and finish the first line with five more syllables. Example: There once was a boy from Cancun. Now think of a feature or an event and write a line that ends in a word that rhymes with Cancun, such as: Whose eyes were as round as the moon. Next, skip to the fifth line, which will be the final line that includes the twist or punch line. What are some of your rhyming word choices? There are many. BalloonRaccoonSpoonmaroon Try to think up something funny or clever to say and write a line that will end with one of your rhyming words. (You will find that the two short lines in the middle are easy to come up with. You can work on those last.) Here is one possible result: There once was a boy from Cancun,Whose eyes were as round as the moon. That wasn’t so bad,But the nose that he hadWas as long and as flat as a spoon. Have fun!

Effectiveness of Talent Management in the field of Human resource Research Proposal

Effectiveness of Talent Management in the field of Human resource - Research Proposal Example According toPhillips & Gull (2012), training key employees should be top priority for the Human resource department. Boudreau & Ramstad (2005) found that organizations that have put deliberate measures to identify high potential employees are seven times more effective in delivering results. This shows the importance and relevance of knowing how to identify, manage, develop and reward talent in human resource studies. Organizations realize that they must have top talents for their success.Becker & Ulrich (2001) found that the best practices being adopted include aligning the talent strategy with the business strategy. A business strategy must always drive the talent needed. The second is that competence should be a basis for succession, hiring, and promotions and finally the third practice is putting the right people in the right jobs. Sometimes hiring the right skills is more efficient than developing those skills. The relevant professional experience in talent management in human r esource is having a degree in human resource or a masters and having been involved in human resource for not less than five years to augment productivity and ability to develop employees for management and talent creation in a firm.

English - Genetically Modified Foods Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1500 words

English - Genetically Modified Foods - Essay Example Yet, these developments are not purely benevolent. As the potential long-term effects of eating the resulting food is unknown, many consumers are afraid of future side effects and prefer foods that are naturally cultivated. Genetically modified plants and animals are, by definition, altered at their most fundamental levels, mutated in ways totally foreign to time-honored methods. One of the most significant debates presently occurring in the realm of genetically altered foods is over whether or not poultry produced via the developments of biotechnology create a healthy food supply. Although the full repercussions of consuming such meat over a lifetime will not be known for many years, I believe the prospects of better yields and stronger resistance to disease outweighs this. Genetically engineered poultry are the way of the future, and this future is to the greatest benefit to farmers, consumers and the poultry themselves. For thousands of years, mankind has domesticated fowl for eggs, meat and the breeding of subsequent generations of stock. Although using completely new methods and concepts, modern science is in fact advancing the practice of farming to achieve desired beneficial traits. Historical evidence suggests that humans have manipulated birds as required through purposeful breeding schemes and animal husbandry. Theoretically, genetic engineering is only a new potential avenue in this traditional art of bettering livestock populations. Combining the traits scientists wish to insert via biotechnology into the domesticated fowl is an ideal situation for farmers. Through this new tool in farming, consumers also benefit with lower prices, better tasting meat, and even meat which will microwave more effectively, thus answering to contemporary cooking instruments. People have always sought to enhance the desirable qualities of domesticated poultry. However, these processes may hot have anyways been humane or caring towards the animals. One such customary and fully legal practice in the United States is to starve hens for weeks at a time in order to manipulate egg production, despite the potential for serious health problems that might lead to premature death. Genetic engineering of the chickens can prevent further unethical acts towards these animals, which are regularly kept in mechanized environments and regularly mutilated, starved, forced to reproduce through artificial insemination, and left unprotected from widespread disease. Through the creation of chickens that are resistant to disease and able to mature quickly and stay in better health, the current ways of increasing the chicken growth rate can mercifully be abandoned. One of the worst negative effects of captivity is a dehabilitating leg weakness caused by tibial dyschondroplasia. In the natural environment, only 1.2 percent of chickens suffer from this condition, where 49 percent of domesticated chicken are plagued with these leg problems.1 The prospect of making chickens grow larger, leaner, and faster is very appealing to farmers, and as a biotech company president said, "I'm not sure that birds have preferences about their body shape." Genetic engineering can propagate a stock that is better suited for domestic conditions, insuring a better quality of life. Disease prevention among chickens is extremely important to both farmers and consumers,

Civilization vs. Savagery Essay Example for Free

Civilization vs. Savagery Essay Counterpoint is a common literary device used by many authors in a variety of forms of literature. It gives the work contrast and interest as well as a diverse insight into two completely different ideas or opposites. The main counterpoint presented in William Golding’s Lord of the Flies would be the idea of civilization vs. savagery. This motif is presented throughout the novel. The idea that humans are constantly battling their feral instincts and civilized ideals is a theme that is deeply and extensively explored. Golding acquaints civilization with good, and savagery with evil. He uses symbolic characters and objects in order to convey his themes and ideas. He represents the opposing forces of civilization and savagery with the two main characters: Ralph, the protagonist, who represents order and leadership; and Jack, the antagonist, who represents savagery and the desire for power. Among these characters there are many others who react to the conflict in different ways. The conflict between these opposites is the driving force of the novel. When it comes down to the idea of civilization, Golding implies that civilization is something forced upon humans by society, and not something one is instinctively drawn to. Civilization is merely just a mask of ones instincts. Ralph is the perfect example of the desire for civilization among the boys of the island. He expresses this quality when he states, â€Å"Weve got to have rules and obey them. After all, were not savages. Were English, and the English are best at everything† (Golding 2.192). The boys still desire their previous, ordered life they left back in England. Ralph is the symbol of supressing one’s natural savage instincts, he feels the thrill and exhilaration of barbarity but manages to subdue these spirits. Piggy is also an example of the human need for civilization. Not once in the novel does he display savage feelings or undertones. This shows just how badly the human race strives for civilization, but it is not something organic. The counterpoint to the idea of civilization in Lord of the Flies would be the theme of savagery. Golding seems to suggest throughout the novel that a humans savage instincts are far more powerful then the desire for civilization. The perfect character to acquaint to the theme of savagery would be Jack. Jack thrives off of dominance and power. He exemplifies these traits during the murder of Simon: The sticks fell and the mouth of the new circle crunched and screamed. The beast was on its knees in the center, its arms folded over its face. It was crying out against the abominable noise something about a body on the hill. The beast struggled forward, broke the ring and fell over the steep edge of the rock to the sand by the water. At once the crowd surged after it, poured down the rock, leapt on to the beast, screamed, struck, bit, tore. There were no words, and no movements but the tearing of teeth and claws. (Golding 9.89-99) The boys revert to their instinctive ferocious roots, having no mercy on their fellow human. They cruelly murder Simon as if he were a wild animal. Roger is also a good example of savagery in the novel. As the idea of civilization on the island begins to become a distant memory, Roger lets himself become victim of his most basic human instincts. This is first apparent to the reader when Roger throws rocks at the littluns, and after his murder of the pig which was much more brutal then necessary. Roger is also the leading culprit in the loss of Piggy. He was the one who pushed the boulder down the hill inevitably causing Piggy’s death. While Jack feeds off the idea of power, Roger revolves around causing pain. He symbolizes the sadistic instincts of mankind, and having to suppress the desire to hurt others in order to function in society. William Golding uses counterpoint to his advantage in the writing of his novel Lord of the Flies. He clearly expresses the conflict between the complex human need for civilization and mankind’s savage instincts. He expresses the struggle extensively using the characters in the novel to portray both sides. Savages vs. those who struggle to keep civility. The novel deeply explores the concept of human instincts overpowering one’s facade of civilization put on for the rest of society. How, when left up to their own devices, humans are capable of doing the unthinkable. Works Cited Golding, William. Lord of the Flies. London: Faber and Faber, 1954.

Changes in Child Socialization Essay -- Sociology Sociological Essays

Changes in Child Socialization The socialization of children has changed during the past century. According to Shepard 2001, child socialization is defined as a close interaction with a small number of people-none of whom the child has selected-where the child learned to think and speak, internalizes norms, beliefs, and values; forms some basic attitudes; develops a capacity (or incapacity) for intimate and personal relationships; and acquires a self-image. In the past, a child may have learned to be social through relationships at home, at school and at church. Today, a child learns socialization through relationships in many different situations. In 1900, twenty percent of women in the United States had full-time jobs outside the home. In 1997, this figure tripled to sixty percent of all women holding full-time jobs. The percentage of men in the workforce has remained fairly steady, with the average holding full-time jobs being eighty percent. Stay-at-home mothers are becoming a rarity, as households feel the need to increase income. With both parents working, children have become used to spending more time at daycare and school. Parents may be more likely to send their children to school at an earlier age when daycare costs are prohibitive. Children now participate in an array of extra-curricular activities, spending their time outside of school away from home. Some parents may feel this is a way to spend time with their child, if they are involved in coaching or being a spectator. For other parents, the activity gives them some free time while their child participates. Children learn to work in groups or as part of a team, while learning from adults and peers alike. Parliamentary vs Presidential Governments

In a democratic government there are two most popular types of government: presidential and parliamentary. They are somewhat similar, but their branches, executive, legislative, and judicial, work differently and are responsible for quite different jobs. Most European countries run by the parliamentary systems, such as Britain, because it once was monarchy. Even now the Great Britain has a Queen Elizabeth II. Countries like the United States are ran by the presidential form of government. The most significant difference in the Parliamentary form of government versus the Presidential is that the president is both the chief executive and the head of state. The President has the power to veto laws, execute the instructions of Congress when it declares war, has the right to approve the treaties without the legislature's permission. The president has the right to deploy military, but cannot declare war. Parliamentary system divides the chief executive and the head of state into two separate offices. The chief executive is usually the Prime Minister and the head of state is the president. In Britain, for example, the chief executive is the Prime Minister, and the head of state is the queen Elizabeth II. The Prime Minister is usually the highest political authority in the country and is the head of the Cabinet, or the executive office. He does all the decision making, approves laws, nominates all the ministers and the Cabinet members, has authority to control all the governmental departments. another big difference between the two governments is how they get elected. In Presidential government, for example in the United States, the candidate for presidency is being elected by the Cabinet or the Senate, further to be selected by the votes of the nation. The Prime Minister, as in Britain, is elected by the Cabinet. People do not vote for him, but they do vote for the congressmen, who may soon become the Prime Minister. The President and the Prime Minister are both people wi th the most authorities in their country, and both can be dismissed at any point in time by the Cabinet. The Presidential system and the Parliamentary system differ in each country, because each country has its own constitution. For example in Great Brittan, the person with the most authority is the Prime Minister, but in Russia, it is the President, even thought Russia has a Prime Minister. The two democracies work the same way, only people with the same titles do different jobs, and people with similar jobs have a different title.
